Park Kyung-soo, Woo Gyu-min, and Park Byeong-ho were all LG's rising hopes about 20 years ago. Seongnam High School's Park Kyung-soo was drafted in the first round in 2003, and Whimoon High School's Gyu-min Woo wore the LG uniform as the 19th pick in the second and third rounds that same year, and two years later, Seongnam High School's Park Byeong-ho joined LG as a first-round pick in 2005. At the time, Park Kyung-soo received a lot of attention as a slugging second baseman, Woo Gyu-min as a special submarine, and Park Byeong-ho as a potential home run hitter.
